How did you come up with $745? I-485 application fees were $325 + $70 fee for biometrics. That makes it $395 per application or $790 for two applications. Maybe your lawyer gave you incorrect advice about the fees??

Folks,
I need some guidance from experienced folks particularly those who hold MBBS degree from India and are already in US in medical profession.
My brother has received MBBS about 5 years go and he is doing his practice in rural area. His wife is also MBBS and also holds a diploma on OB/GYN area.
My question is if they want to immigrate to US what are various paths they can follow to get here?

Support IV now or else start packing bags. There are few things that you can do and that is not difficult.
1. Become member of IV
2. Support them by contributing money.
3. Support them by taking part in conference call and meet the lawmakers.
You can do it. By the way stop giving others BS that
1. We are on H1B and so no one will hear us.
2. Is it legal or illlegal to contributing money.
These are nothing but just excuseS. In reallity you don't have guts and faith in yourself.

I used to work for a company A in california.. Boss is kind of using very bad language constantly and torchers almost everyday. Is there any1 who can help me out or has similar situations. Is there any1 that i can file a complain. Since he knew that I am on H1B and international student he was continuously abusing. any help would appreciated.

Keep one thing in mind every decision in life has its own pro's and con's.First of all with all self respect for yourself change your job.H1b itself is legalised slavery or human trafficking whatever you call it.unfortunately whether your employer tortures you or not every employer irrespective of whether you are a H1b or a Green card or a citizen will exploit you to the fullest, no matter what, that's the irony.

I am also planning on changing location from one state to another but the job is still with the same company (just moving to a different branch). My lawyer said it will not affect my GC but I have to get a new LCA for my H1. I still do not understand how this will not affect my GC (I have a approved 140 and waiting to file 485). Is there a way this is possible like if the labor is filed from the corporate office and has nothing do with branch locations?
I just want to make sure it is safe before I move.
